In early 2002, two adventurous entrepreneurs met while backpacking in Thailand. They shared a love of an outdoor lifestyle, and The Travel Hammock was born. It later became Grand Trunk – “Goods for the Road.”

GT to sponsor eating contest at Appalachian Trail Days

This Thursday, MAY 12TH, Grand Trunk is sponsoring the cake and hit dog eating contest at the 25th Anniversary of Appalachian Trail Days in Damascus, VA.

Contestants has 3 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as possible and then another 3 minutes to eat 1/2 of a sheet cake. ONLY 2 people have ever finished the entire cake.

Winners get a prize pack from GT.

Thursday, May 12 of Trail Days at the First Baptist Church parking lot at 2:30 PM.
